To Err is Human,
To Forgive Divine.

Words we had all but forgotten, both my 'little brother' and I.

Sometimes I wondered if those fools had been mocking me, or just were simply warning me of what I was becoming.

So I ran away. But he didn't come after me like I wanted him to. But after a long, lonely journey of my own, I found myself back to where I began to run.

This story is how I found my true self, the REAL Franziska von Karma. And how in my imperfections, how perfect I was for the one would walk on without me, knowing that some day I would find a way to catch up, if I would just quit running away from the truth that was in both our hearts.

It all started March 3rd, at 2:17am at the International Airport when a certain person disembarked the plane from Europe.

Wasting no time after the long flight, a young woman made her way to the luggage pick-up area. She felt a bit impatient and it made her furrow her brow.
"If only I had my whip. How foolish of me to act like a child, but it was the fault of those foolish fools of this foolish country.", she grumbled to herself just as she noticed her baggage being next up on the conveyor belt.

She went to reach for her possessions, when another hand reached for it as well. If only she had her weapon, then she would have beaten the offending hand for trying to steal her things.
"That is MINE you foolish thie------" she started to snap, as she looked up to see just who was filching her things from her so openly in public, surrounded by far too many witnesses to escape.

Instantly her face became surprised with recognition of the person who was attempting to steal from her. "YOU!", she stated brashly, as she quickly snatched her luggage before the other person could.
"What are YOU doing here?!", she stated with more than a little disdain. However her eyes held a strange bit of turmoil at seeing the person she confronted.

His face looked tired, even though he tried to hide it with a smirk of knowing. It was a face the made the woman even more angry at his presence, but at the same time made her heart beat faster. She ignored that feeling; the feeling of imperfection that the unnecessary feeling that she was feeling caused her to feel.

+Flashback+

A light breath had escaped his lips as he disembarked the flight, taking the brief moment he stepped out of the plane. The trip he had taken after that manner of case had helped put some things into perspective... he certainly hoped that he could take those lessons with him.

The conveyor belt that was dropping off the luggage from his flight was also dropping off luggage from a different flight that had landed at virtually the same time as his had. As he walked along the belt, watching out for his luggage, he could see it from the corner of his eyes. At least, it seemed like it from a distance; the flight had been draining on him. As he reached out to take it...

+End Flashback+
In each and every case, there are loose ends...

Things that are left unanswered. Even if the case is solved and those responsible are put away, and those who are innocent are set free. We've tried to tie those ends together whenever we can.

But, sometimes things get forgotten...

Lost in the sea of evidence and information we possess, and in things we, as lawyers, detectives, spirit mediums, and others involved with those cases have forgotten to ask and forgotten to tell each other.

This story, is how some of those loose ends get tied up, and how certain people got too tied up in their own fears to be able to able see the truths set before them.

This story tells how they tied up their own loose ends during the investigation of all the cases that brought them together and then tore them apart.

This story involves tying up those loose ends, both professionally and personally.

This is how a miracle really happens, even if everyone has forgotten how to believe.
